Days Inn by Wyndham Charleston East

Absolutely great for the price. Beds and room were clean, smelled great. The breakfast was beyond what was expected and the man in charge of the breakfast buffet was super friendly to my kid. He even helped him get some apple juice! They had cheese omelets, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and a waffle iron to make fresh waffles. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely search this one out!

The building our room was in was very clean and quiet. Our bed was comfortable and we had plenty of hot water. Our friends we were traveling with told us the next morning not to bother with breakfast there. They threw theirs away and said the coffee was awful. We went to the McDonald's (you can walk there) and had the biggest and best sausage and egg biscuit we've ever had at a McDonald's.

Comfortable room I was lucky to get one right next to the parking lot. Noisy neighbors. Can do much about it and bored staff. Nevertheless it is good value for money, great location beautiful backdrop of the mountain send the river and i had a good stay.

We bought via Priceline at the last minute. Came in very late. Front desk lady was very nice. lobby was clean. We were in building 3. pleasantly surprised to see how clean everything was. our room was quite clean. I did smell the lemon cleanser as others mentioned but, it blended away quickly. The breakfast area was a little intense, lots of people and not a lot of moving room. standard muffins, bagels, oatmeal packets. they did have a waffle maker but it was not working at the time we were there. All in all was a but nervous about it as a mom traveling with 3 kids, but it was safe, clean and great for the price.

The hotel was a great price. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing super fancy but it met our needs. The breakfast included toast, cereal, and fresh waffles from a waffle maker. The lobby bathroom was out of both soap and paper towels, but that was relatively minor. Overall it was good value for the money.

We had a great stay at the Days Inn! The room was very clean, smelled fine, the bedding looked clean (I hope it actually was). We had a great view of the river behind the hotel out our window. We swam in the pool (it opens at ~9:30 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. just FYI. They had breakfast, which included Waffles!, cereal, bread to be toasted (few varieties), scrambled egg circles & GoGurt (both in the mini fridge in the breakfast area), and OJ/Apple Juice/Coffee/Milk. The waffles were worth the wait in line. Our kids had plenty to eat and weren't complaining, so it was sufficient. We were hesitant to book because of other reviews, but decided to give it a try since they were so much less than the next cheapest available. We have no complaints about our stay and would recommend it to others looking for an affordable hotel. There is a McDonald's next door (if that is your thing), Little Caesar's Pizza less than 2 minutes down the road (our choice), and other restaurants nearby. Great hotel stay that you can't beat for the price.

I travel often, and I look for a motel that is clean and safe. This one did NOT disappoint. Bright room with clean towels, bathroom, and fresh white linens. Adding pictures for reference. Shower was hot with great water pressure, and no plumbing or pest issues. And, it was only 12 miles from the airport PS This hotel is a joint Super 8 and Days Inn. I stayed via Days Inn, I don't know if that affects which room and cleaning crew I received.

From the moment we checked in we knew we booked a good hotel. We walked in to a super clean lobby with a nice breakfast area to the right and a comfy sitting area to the left. Destiny (I think was her name) checked us in and she was very helpful and so nice. She let us know of all the amenities, what time breakfast would be, and where our room was located. Upon walking in to our room we we're a bit surprised at how nice it was. The furniture was in great condition and the beds we're comfortable. We visited their pool and that was very nice as well. Very clean. Housekeeping was on top of their game! Always did a great job at replenishing any thing we may have needed more of. The location of this hotel is supreme compared to others in this area. We noticed the hotels across the street are right next to the freeway and didn't look near as nice. Breakfast was good. Better than most, to be honest. Mike and another lady was rushing around making sure guests had clean tables and breakfast items were readily available to them. Mike actually checked us out and he was so nice. If we ever have to visit Charleston WV again we are definitely booking with them! Couldn't find better hospitality than here!
